Share your history for review

When secure online intake is available, care may begin with a non-urgent health history and messages. A licensed clinician can review your information, ask follow-up questions, and decide whether messages are sufficient. If not, the next step may be live video, testing, or in-person care. The secure intake link is coming soon; please do not send health information through this public page.

02 · Move to real time

Video if a message is not enough

A clinician may need a live conversation, visual assessment, or additional questions before making a decision. Video is not a substitute for testing or a hands-on examination when those are needed.

03 · Choose a safe next step

Treatment, testing, or referral

The clinician may recommend a care plan, a video visit, local testing, or in-person care. Medication and refills depend on independent judgment and are never guaranteed.

When might I need a live video visit?

A clinician may request video when messages are not enough, including for:

Mental-health concerns or medication changes needing a live discussion.
Urinary or vaginal symptoms when the history is unclear or testing may be needed.
Cold, flu, or sinus symptoms that are changing or worsening.
Skin or mild eye concerns when photos or messages are not enough.
Refill requests involving new symptoms, side effects, or safety questions.

Your clinician decides the right next step, which may instead be testing or in-person care. Video is not guaranteed.

When video is not enough

Do not wait for an asynchronous reply or assume a video appointment will resolve an urgent or emergency condition.

Call 911 for chest pain, serious trouble breathing, signs of a severe allergic reaction, or another possible medical emergency. Do not wait for a message or video call.
For an immediate self-harm plan, suicide attempt, or suspected overdose, call 911; for emotional crisis support in the U.S., call or text 988. Do not send a portal message.
Seek prompt in-person care for severe eye pain, vision changes, rapidly spreading or blistering rash with fever, or worsening breathing symptoms.
Seek prompt in-person assessment for urinary symptoms with fever, flank pain, vomiting, or pregnancy; severe pelvic pain or heavy bleeding may require emergency care.
